Geometry (1.0 credit)

The purpose of this course isto develop the geometric relationships and deductive strategies that canbe used to solve a variety of real world and mathematical problems.Upon successful completion of this course, a student will understandlines, triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, circles, and othergeometrical concepts such as congruence, similarity, area, and volume.Deductive reasoning and the role of proofs in mathematics are stronglyemphasized in this course.
